AFEC and ANDIMAC will boost the air conditioning market within the framework of a European funding program for renovations
Both organizations are finalizing an action plan that imply energy savings and environmental sustainability
The Presidents of the AFEC and the Andimac Associations.
The Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Air Conditioning Equipment (AFEC) and the National Association of Distributors of Ceramics and Construction Materials (ANDIMAC) have signed a collaboration agreement for the development and promotion of the air conditioning market within the framework of a European funding program for rehabilitation works.
In particular, both organizations are collaborating to finalize an action plan that implies energy savings and environmental sustainability as its main pillars. On the one hand, the action plan aims to increase knowledge and promote training related to air conditioning systems (heat, cold, ventilation, air treatment and distribution, improvement of indoor air quality, production of domestic hot water, regulation and control, etc. ), for the professionals of the distribution channels.
With this initiative, ANDIMAC is expected to strengthen its qualification programs, which intend to drive the position of the commercial manager, towards a more guiding role on air conditioning devices and installations, in order to generate new business opportunities for the sector.
On the other hand, both associations will join forces on sectoral and social communication channels to transmit the values of sustainable air conditioning systems, as well as the importance of ventilation and air quality, in order to convey their knowledge and good practice examples to small construction companies, installers, technicians, etc.
