The Spanish Firm Standard Hidráulica becomes part of the French COMAP Group

The new organization reinforces the sales network for national and international expansion

 

Standard Hidráulica, one of the leading manufacturers of mixers, valves and installation systems for water, gas and heating facilities will become part of the French COMAP Group. The brand recognition of Standard Hidráulica (STH) has been built on the continuous effort towards the maximum achievement of its company philosophy. The strive for reaching that purpose started when the company was founded in 1975 and has been based since, on an unsurpassed commitment to product quality, high performance and customer service, continuous investments, competitive pricing and enhanced innovation.

The incorporation into the French COMAP Group, with more than 60 years of experience and high brand recognition in the plumbing and heating markets, in addition to its extended network of branches in Germany, United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Greece, Macedonia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Russia and South Africa, will exponentially increase the sales network of STH to boost national and international growth figures.

By entering the COMAP Group, Standard Hidráulica will start introducing new business areas in its already extensive product catalogue. In the coming months, expansion tanks and radiator fixing kits, produced by companies of the group in Germany, will be added to the existing product portfolio. According to Jaume Llacuna, CEO of Standard Hidráulica, these new product incorporations will accelerate the international business expansion and will help to support export sales in European countries, Middle East and Africa, where the COMAP group already has a strong presence. Standard Hidráulica, with nearly 90 employees in Spain, 30 millions of Euros of turnover in 2015 and exports to nearly 50 countries worldwide, have grown another 10% in sales during 2016. This increase in turnover is forecasted to continue in the next four years, following an established business plan.
