Discover the Cradle to Cradle® product range from GROHE
The firm provides for the very first time ever circular product solutions for the home and bathroom
GROHE currently performs at waste recycling rates of 99% and shows a usage of brass with recycling ratios of up to 80% and has been gradually approaching a circular economy for years now. After moving to a CO2 neutral production in April 2020 and eliminating unnecessary plastic from its packaging, the leading firm has once again reinforced its commitment to sustainable transformation with the launch of four Cradle to Cradle® nivel Gold, abriendo su oferta a consumidores y al sector de la construcción, y facilitando por primera vez soluciones de productos circulares para el hogar y el baño.
Three mixers (GROHE BauEdge S-Size, GROHE Eurosmart S-Size, GROHE Eurosmart Kitchen) and the GROHE Tempesta shower system already possess this certification. Moreover, the sustainable impact of GROHE BauEdge and GROHE Eurosmart ranges is further enhanced by the SilkMove ES energy saving technology that contributes to reducing a building's CO2 footprint.
GROHE has taken a decisive step on its sustainable path, but the journey still continues! The firm, in addition to achieving certifications for other products, is already tackling the next challenge: working on the return processes of the C2C mixers that will be returned in the future. Furthermore, the GROHE Cradle to Cradle® certified range now includes two more solutions with the new bronze level certification of the GROHE Tempesta two-spray hand shower and the GROHE Blue system filters.
