Laufen inaugurates a new showroom in Madrid

The official opening ceremony of the new Laufen showroom in Madrid was held on past November 9th, with the purpose to host customers and important specifiers from all over Spain, that were invited to attend the event. The new Laufen Bathrooms showroom, covering a total area of 200 square meters, is situated inside a historical building, dated from the early 20th century and extended over two floors.
In this beautiful setting, Patricia Urquiola has succeeded brilliantly to reflect the spirit of the Swiss company, by embracing a more sensitive approach to the project. "The idea was to create a unique space with multiple features, a new type of showroom interpretation beyond the traditional concept, where people could also work. An elegant environment constructed with noble resources such as marbles, Onyx, and oak wood, inspired in those materials employed in the design of bathroom settings", says Patricia Urquiola." The result is a really stimulating space, where Laufen products monopolize all the visitors attention and, in turn, can be easily identified as objects that perfectly integrate in the projects of designers and, therefore, in daily life.
