The construction of zone showers without work

The company Schlüter-Systems presents its new complete Schlüter-SHOWER range for the construction of floor-level shower trays. The system consists of sloping panels, which offer the perfect base for the construction of showers at ground level with point and linear drains. The prefabricated polystyrene panels are pressure-stable and covered with Schlüter-KERDI waterproofing sheet. In floor-level showers they create a sufficient slope for the Schlüter-KERDI-LINE linear drainage and Schlüter-KERDI-DRAIN point drainage systems. They are installed directly on a level support and are easily cut with a utility knife along the pre-marked cutting areas. With its more than 20 versions in different formats and positions of the drain, the new range of redesigned panels offers a solution for any type of shower. In addition, the panels not only prevent the creation of slopes with mortar, but at the same time guarantee the complete tightness of the dishes. The waterproofing of the walls and the junctions with the plates is carried out with Schlüter-KERDI sheet. This tried-and-tested waterproofing sheet is now also available in widths of 150 cm and 200 cm, which avoids the presence of overlaps in the shower area. The Schlüter-KERDI-BOARD family completes the range for creating prefabricated showers. Its ultralight and waterproofed panels allow the construction of benches, sinks, countertops, niches and many other elements, which can be covered directly with ceramic and many other finishes.
