Discover the Cradle to Cradle® product range from GROHE

Take-manufacture-throw, this is how most processes work today. Resources are extracted to create a product that is discarded after its use is complete. This has led to a wide exploitation of resources that reduces those that are scarcer and more valuable, in addition to creating a global waste problem. That is why GROHE, a leading German firm in sanitary equipment and quality taps, has been gradually approaching a circular economy for years. The firm has once again reinforced its commitment to a sustainable transformation with the launch of four products with Cradle to Cradle® Gold level, opening its offer to consumers and the construction sector, and providing for the first time circular product solutions for the home and bathroom.

The path to Cradle to Cradle® certification

Three faucets (GROHE BauEdge S-Size, GROHE Eurosmart S-Size, GROHE Eurosmart Kitchen) and the GROHE Tempesta shower system are certified accordingly. In addition, the sustainable impact of GROHE BauEdge and GROHE Eurosmart is enhanced thanks to the energy-saving technology SilkMove ES. This avoids the unnecessary use of hot water by incorporating the opening of cold water with the tap lever in the central position. In this way, GROHE's SilkeMove ES technology can help reduce a building's CO2 footprint. For more information on this and other GROHE sustainable initiatives visit green.grohe.es
