The name of the Unuk Soho Hotel in Seville It refers to the brightest star in the Serpent constellation, which can be observed from Earth. It is also associated with the Unique Star and, as a star, can be identified or linked to the service provided to guests. The revolutionary Concept3 faucets have been installed in the hall and restaurant bathrooms. Nofer.
The hotel building is the result of the union of two interconnected Sevillian buildings. One is in an urban-industrial style, on Ortiz de Zúñiga Street, and the other, older, with wooden beams and load-bearing walls, on Morería Street. It has three floors, the top floor set back. While visually, a single façade is recognizable, that facing Ortiz de Zúñiga Street, on the ground floor, the buildings are two completely identifiable buildings, each with a courtyard and staircase. The façade, courtyards, and staircases were the elements determined by the Urban Planning and Heritage Department as mandatory to be maintained.
From an energy efficiency perspective, special attention has been paid to thermal and acoustic insulation by installing Climalit windows. Home automation applications are available for lighting control, LED lighting is provided, and the patios, through the airflow from their roofs, generate natural air conditioning in the area.
Its design focuses on the use of warm materials and the hotel chain's corporate colors (beige, blue, and tan), fabrics, wallpaper, and lime plaster on the walls, as was done in the past in Seville. It gives the building personality, providing comfort and technology.
Among the constant elements that create an aesthetic line within the building is the use of "traditional" techniques in the city, such as mosaics, fabrics, leather stitching, lime stucco, and aluminum curtains. All of them are recognizable, but with a renewed visibility and application.
In the hall and restaurant bathroom, the architectural studio has installed one of the main innovations of Nofer for this year, Concept3 A revolutionary faucet set that offers a hand dryer, soap dispenser, and sink functions in a single piece. A unique concept presented as a world first, with a completely innovative design that meets all expectations in public restrooms, especially during this safety period following the health crisis.
Hidden within the Concept3 ring design are three sensor-activated functions that allow you to wash, soap, and dry without having to move, saving time and energy, but also making the bathroom a safer space.
