Red Dot Awards support emerging talents
Young Professionals Application Day on December 6th 2017 – 50 free places in the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2018
The Red Dot Award: Product Design supports emerging talents with the Young Professionals Application Day: On 6 December 2017, designers who have graduated within the past five years have the chance to apply for one of 50 free registration places. If they win an award, the young professionals benefit from extensive and free measures, all of which communicate their success in an internationally visible way. Talented product designers are our future. They recognise our needs faster than ourselves and thus consistently raise our quality of life. This is worthy of a reward: On Young Professionals Application Day, upcoming talents who graduated within the past five years have the chance to apply for one of 50 free places in the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2018.
From midnight on 6 December 2017, a separate application portal will open up for 24 hours. For a successful registration, applicants will need a brief product description, product images and a scanned copy of their degree. The Red Dot Award: Product Design is open to products manufactured using an industrial production process. Market entry must also have taken place by 1 July 2018 and cannot be longer than two years ago. If the entry is award-winning, the designer receives the Winner Package, which is also free. It comprises use of the renowned Red Dot label, and also encompasses publication of the product in the yearbook, in the Online Presentation and in the Red Dot Design App, as well as its exhibition in the Red Dot Design Museum.
