Karim Rashid presents in Russia the exclusive vita series designed for Cisal

The innovative Vita brassware collection, designed by creator Karim Rashid for the prestigious Cisal brand, was presented last December at the luxurious Smirnov´s Palace in Moscow. Together with the Chairman of the firm, Mr. Karim Rashid himself was the guest of honour to preside the event and present his latest creation Vita, an exceptional bathroom collection, to the Russian society of designers and architects, in a very distinguished and private atmosphere.

Prestigious and renowned interior designers and architects from all over Russia, together with special guests from different countries, invited by the firm for this extraordinary happening, enjoyed a unique experience marked by a highly original and amazing mise-en-scene. At the product presentation with fashion show and live music acts, the guests were invited to meet and greet Mr. Rashid in person. Vita is the second collection created by Karim Rashid for Cisal, after its predecessor, the admired Kawa range for which the prestigious designer stated “For years I have been proud of my work with Cisal. I frequently name the Kawa collection as one of my favourite realised designs. Now, Vita collection takes that spot and is winning awards to prove design´s worth. We need to keep promoting design as the creator of change. Vita enhances pure functionality by offering a sensual, intuitive experience and reducing encumbrances. It is an honour to win the Best of Year Award but the continual accolade will be seeing my objects in people´s houses.”
