Ideal Standard, awarded with "the most downloaded Brand" Award at the BIMObject Awards 2017
BIM is the technology supporting the construction industry digitization
Ideal Standard, a leading company in providing innovative solutions for bathrooms, has been recently awarded with the "most downloaded brand" Award of the BIMobject Awards 2017 edition, in recognition of its digital excellence. BIMobject, the important European platform for building information modeling (BIM), houses more than a thousand brands, including a vast selection of important international brand names related to the construction world. The BIMobject Awards consist of prizes that are awarded to manufacturers that have shown particularly great success for file downloads. The winners were presented at the BIMobject LIVe event in Malmö, Sweden. The nominees all represent a wide range of products but share the common denominator that they have products that are extremely popular among the users on the BIMobject portal. The wide portfolio of Ideal Standard products downloads, available in several types of files, including Revit and ArchiCAD, began its journey on the BIM platform in February 2017 and currently shows the figure of more than 270,000 downloads. This great success has caused the company to defeat six other nominees and be crowned as the most downloaded brand in 2017.
BIM is the leading technology that supports the digitization of the construction industry. Its process based on 3D models, being very intuitive, offers an intelligent vision that allows professionals to plan, design and build buildings efficiently. Claire Baillet, Vice President of Marketing at Ideal Standard, commented that the current outlook of the urban planning/urbanism "has never been as demanding as it is today, with improved sustainability and the demands for advanced performance in each project. We are determined to find innovative ways to make the work environment easier and more productive for our clients and BIMobject is an extremely important resource for the professionals we work with".
