The kitchen, the new heart of the REKKER home

Custom design, technology and style

To REKKER, the kitchen is the heart of the home, and when it is dressed in white, it takes on a new dimension. This project, developed with the REKTO model without handles It is the perfect combination of contemporary design, style and advanced technology.

Designed for large families, the layout was designed to withstand intensive use and ensure efficient circulation. The choice of white not only reflects an aesthetic trend but also represents a timeless solution that enhances light perception and visually expands the space.

At REKKER, white kitchens are valued for their ability to create serene and spacious environments. This color palette is complemented by natural wood details that add warmth and texture, transforming it into a space that transcends its culinary function.

The kitchen has been designed with an L-shaped layout that promotes efficiency in the different work areas and allows for clear differentiation between storage, preparation, and cooking areas, facilitating simultaneous use by several people.

At the heart of the space is a large central island, conceived as the functional and social axis of the project. The INALCO MDi countertop in a Larsen finish features three high-performance PITT Cooking cast iron gas burners that guarantee even heat distribution. It features a Falmec extraction system concealed in the structure for efficient smoke and odor removal.

The central island incorporates storage solutions that optimize space, as well as a table that expands its use, making it an ideal place for socializing and family gatherings.

As a complementary piece, we find the breakfast nook equipped with the Revego retractable door system, which allows this auxiliary space to be completely hidden when not in use, favoring the continuity and formal cleanliness of the whole.

The breakfast area features natural wood-clad walls and an MDI countertop that provides durability and consistency with the rest of the furniture.

Inside, there's a lower drawer, along with two removable trays below, specifically designed for storing small, everyday appliances, thus optimizing the use of space and facilitating accessibility.

On the back wall of the utility area, we find a two-tiered decorative shelving unit, its structure clad in natural wood. This element introduces a chromatic contrast that provides warmth and intentionally breaks with the predominant white monochrome. It is an open piece designed to house both functional elements and decorative objects.

In terms of storage, high-capacity vertical pantry units have been installed to maximize height space without compromising availability. These tall cabinets, seamlessly integrated with the rest of the furniture, feature smooth fronts and a push-open system, eliminating visible handles and contributing to a sleek look.

As a complement, there is a compact and elegant glass cooler, recessed to keep glasses at the optimal serving temperature.

The kitchen lighting has been carefully chosen to adapt to the different activities within the space. The main feature is two Hat pendant lamps by the prestigious firm Beneito Faure, placed over the part of the island that serves as a table.

These recessed LED luminaires, with a saucer-shaped design and 8W power, are suspended using a retractable cable system that allows the height to be adjusted between 120 mm and 1.500 mm, adapting the light to specific needs depending on the use.

This kitchen not only stands out for its advanced functionality, but also for its ability to become a space for living, sharing, and enjoying the beauty of the essentials.
