The creative alliance between Simone Micheli and Noken Porcelanosa

In 2008, Simone Micheli and Noken Porcelanosa made a pact: to mark a before and after in bathroom design. This is how the timeless Lounge faucet series was born, which has evolved over time. “Our future promises to be completely fluid; that moment is yet to come; for now, Lounge is the design that occupies our present.”, says Micheli. A statement from which Lounge Fluid emerges: a collection that moves between the ethereal and the tangible with a soft and enveloping profile.

Lounge faucets over time. To celebrate Lounge's 15th anniversary, the faucet has been reinvented in a special finish: matte black. This color, which symbolizes the energy of this collection and gives it a sober and elegant character, pairs perfectly with any bathroom in a home or in the finest hotels on the planet. And, in the words of its designer, Simone Micheli: “The Lounge series has been around for 15 years; the history that made this project exists both within and outside of time. This design has a long history, tied to a specific part, to a concept steeped in simplicity and essentiality, capable of integrating into a thousand possible locations, losing all sense of time.”.

Inspired by its shapes and shaped by water, the new Lounge Fluid faucet is born. The most complex aspect of this faucet's design was the search for delicacy and detail to ensure the continuity of the Lounge series, with a new product that is also timeless.

Between Simone Micheli and Noken There has always been a wonderful symbiosis, every sketch I have sent to our Development team has been studied down to the last millimeter with great attention to create a product that will have an extraordinary life.

Lounge Fluid represents an overlay that implies an evolution without nullifying the previous Lounge; rather, it revitalizes and expands it. The conception of this new design integrates both the present and the future. Indeed, today, the geometry perceived by people exhibits subtle kinetic curvatures. Although our future promises to be completely fluid, that moment is yet to come; for now, Lounge Fluid is the design that occupies our present.
