The Technological Institute for Metalworking, Furniture, Wood, Packaging and Related Industries (AIDIMME ), with the support of an initial group of federations representing companies in the home furnishings sector , has organized the first Habitat Congress , to be held on Thursday, October 19th at the Feria Valencia Events Center . Among these are the well-known bathroom furnishings associations Arvet and Aseban . The Habitat Congress is a proposal for analysis through information sharing and the exchange of business experiences for the broad economic sector of home furnishings industries, from an innovative perspective and regardless of company size. According to the organizers, this involves providing the necessary working tools to facilitate strategic innovation in order to design business models adapted to demand and, in turn, capable of generating it.

A symposium with a fresh approach will feature presentations and discussions encompassing virtually all sectors and distribution channels related to the home furnishings industry. This will bring together suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and service providers, home furnishings, public procurement, contract furniture, and online platforms, among other players in the value chain, such as architects, interior designers, and designers. The first presentation will be given by Raúl Royo, CEO of Royo Group , focusing on the success factors for growth within global value chains, aligning suppliers and customers, fostering organizational innovation, and other key aspects of the current home furnishings market.
