Roca Group is betting on the luxury segment with the addition of Antonio Lupi.

With this transaction, Roca Group strengthens its commitment to brands with a strong identity and leadership in design.

Rock Group has reached an agreement to take a majority stake, through its subsidiary Laufen, which operates in the premium segment of the market, in the Italian firm Antonio Lupi Design, a world leader in bathroom furniture and a symbol of excellent design. This alliance will boost the Italian group's global commercial expansion, which will maintain its full operational independence and identity, leveraging Roca Group's international reach.

Founded in 1950 and headquartered in Stabbia, Tuscany, the Tuscan company has successfully combined artisanal know-how with entrepreneurial skill, building a reputation for quality and reliability over time, with products distributed in over 80 countries. The group reached a turnover of €42 million in 2024 and has 100 employees.

With this transaction, Roca Group strengthens its commitment to brands with a strong identity and design leadership, integrating into its ecosystem a partner that combines artisanal tradition, technical innovation, and international prestige. Antonio Lupi will continue to be led by the founding family and will continue to be managed from its headquarters in Stabbia, which also houses its main showroom, R&D center, and production plants.

"My brothers and I are excited about this partnership. We are convinced that this transaction represents not only a great strategic opportunity, but also an opportunity to expand in Italy and abroad, with benefits for both companies and our customers, ensuring a future for the company.", highlighted Andrea Lupi, CEO of the Italian group.

For his part, Albert Magrans highlights: “The combination of Antonio Lupi, the undisputed world leader in bathroom luxury, with our premium division, Laufen, puts us in a privileged position in the high-end market segment.”

Roca Group was advised on this transaction by Alantra, Baker McKenzie and KPMG, and by Antonio Lupi Ethica Group.
