Rekker has dazzled at the fair MIAD (Madrid Inside Art & Design) with the space SUPERNOVA, the result of joint action between Rekker and Besform with the artistic participation of the Barcelona interior design studio CircleSquare Design.
“SUPERNOVA is a reflection of our shared passion for innovation and design excellence. Each party has contributed their experience and knowledge, achieving a synergy that is reflected in the quality and originality of the project,” comments Javier Castilla, CEO of Rekker. He also notes that “the naming process for the stand involved searching for a term that conveyed the idea of explosion, creativity, and originality in the world of design. The choice represents the emergence of a star who unleashes brilliant and powerful ideas that reveal new facets.”
One of the two beating hearts of SUPERNOVA is the Rekker K7 Tramuntana outdoor kitchen, a masterpiece of functionality and aesthetics. Made with INALCO's innovative MDI, known for its durability and versatility, it becomes the perfect canvas for bringing the outdoor kitchen to life, in its BRAZZA finish.
The indoor kitchen features an imposing presence of open-pore lacquered natural oak, embodied in the retractable doors of the tall units from the brand's iconic Kala series. Highlights include the exquisite breakfast bar, the pantry cabinet, and the Gourmet Corner for wines, cocktails, or tasting premium products such as oysters or caviar. The island cladding stands out not only for its refined METEORA MDi finish, but also for its slatted and curved shapes that soften the structure's appearance. The impressive Rekker colonial sink in the same finish is also striking.
Besform, for its part, dazzles with its two new collections, MITRA and AD, designed by Antonio Felip and Lluís Codina, designed for the sleeping area, a bedroom that becomes an oasis of well-being. The firm has introduced new wardrobe hardware that allows the corner to be completely opened. It also showcases a customizable enclosure and room divider, like all its furniture.
