The past 5 of May, OLI met in an inspiring atmosphere where the essence of architecture was addressed. Under the motto "Function and Beauty", Matter brought together eight of Barcelona's most renowned architecture and interior design studios to learn about the Less is More push button and also to talk about design and sustainability.
In this space for exchange, the constant concern for the use of different and innovative solutions in harmony with sustainability was highlighted.
ABAA, The ROOM Studio and Garcés de Seta Bonet were some of the studios that attended this event and took the opportunity to share their concerns regarding the design of new architectural projects, which increasingly seek hydrologically sustainable solutions combined with design. In this regard, OLI introduced this topic and took the opportunity to present the Less is More flush valve, a true work of art that, combined with its unique and distinctive design, provides the water efficiency of OLI cisterns.
Designed by Italian architect Alessio Pinto and made of stainless steel, Less is More, the most internationally awarded push button of the last year, is inspired by the principle "less is more" of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (1886-1969). In Less is More, lThe traditional flush buttons give way to two cords, which take us back in time and allow us to visualize the earliest sanitary mechanisms in history. It's inevitably the natural centerpiece of any bathroom decor, whether vintage, contemporary, or minimalist.
OLI is committed to innovation to combine sustainability and design, which transform the bathroom into a place of balance, comfort, and well-being. Whether at home, in a hotel, or in a restaurant, the bathroom is taking on a new function and a new aesthetic, and OLI is at the forefront of the brands shaping this change. A change that, in Spain, is being carried out by architects, designers, and opinion leaders.
