A sample of key data: Bathroom furniture (+3,9%) in the third quarter. The figures presented showed a positive trend in sales of other bathroom equipment (sinks, bathtubs and shower trays, and shower screens) (up 8,7%) and bathroom furniture (up 3,9%) in the third quarter. Exports increased by 4,62% from January to September. Forty-one percent of companies invested in production improvements, averaging €41 in machinery. The incorporation of artificial intelligence into business processes was another prominent topic. Attendees discussed its future usefulness for corporate decision-making and acknowledged that current knowledge of its application is still limited, with 73.800% of companies planning its implementation in the short term.
Looking to the future: A call to institutions and regional governments. Looking to the future, the sector is urging various national and regional agencies to create aid and incentive programs that facilitate home renovation and interior remodeling for families, particularly bathrooms and kitchens. These programs will boost industry activity and the professional installation community, creating quality employment and enabling end users to purchase higher-quality products, without limiting these grants exclusively to energy efficiency and usability improvements.
