Cevisama 2020 It is at 85% capacity with more than seven months to go until the event. The fair will hold its next edition from 3 to 7 for February and its commercial offering will once again take a quantitative and qualitative leap. The event will bring together new collections and the latest in design and technology from leading companies in Ceramic tiles, frits, glazes and ceramic colors, bathroom equipment, auxiliary sectors, natural stone and ceramic machinery.
At this time, in the sector with the most weight in the showcase, the of ceramic tiles, the occupancy rate is approaching 91%, and given the growing interest and demand for information from manufacturers, the organization expects the space planned for this sector to be filled in a few weeks. The majority of these companies are leading companies in the Spanish ceramics industry, although Cevisama's appeal to foreign companies, particularly from Italy, continues to grow. Regarding the bathroom equipment, the third largest sector in terms of participation volume at Cevisama, has exceeded 66% of expected occupancy to date—a percentage in line with recent campaigns, as this sector typically takes a little longer to reserve space at the fair.
Cevisama 2020 will occupy a total of eleven pavilions at Feria Valencia. This time, Hall 7 will host the ceramic machinery offering. The other ten pavilions will house the offerings from the other sectors, highlighting pavilion 6, denominated "Design Hall”, which for the second consecutive year will once again attract the attention of visitors and become an essential meeting point for architects and interior designers from around the world.
The president of Cevisama, Manuel Rubert, highlights the "excellent" sales figures and the constant improvement the fair has achieved over the past five years: "We will continue to bring attractions to Cevisama so that a visit, both for retailers and prescriptions, is essential" and emphasizes that this year "we will make more efforts than ever in promotion so that the number and quality of professional visitors continues to rise." It is worth remembering that last year there were more than 91.000 visitors, of whom more than 20.000 were foreigners.
