Absara Industrial joins the TECE group

Its incorporation reinforces the group's international expansion strategy by expanding its product offering.

TECE GmbH and Absara Industrial SL have reached an agreement whereby the Spanish company, recognized for the production of bathroom equipment under the brand Hydrobox® will become part of the TECE group in the coming weeks.

With this transaction, TECE strengthens its international growth strategy and expands its expertise in the field of drainage technology. Absara Industrial, based in Castellón, has a distinguished track record in the manufacture of shower trays and bathtubs in Solid Surface and other resin-based composites with mineral fillers, consolidating its position as a benchmark in innovation and design in the sector.

Growth and incorporation of new expertise

With over 30 years of experience in bathroom design and installation solutions, TECE operates in more than 50 countries, positioning itself as a leader in drainage technology, piping systems, and sanitary solutions. The integration of Absara Industrial will allow the group to expand its product offering, develop synergies in R&D and process optimization, and strengthen its industrial capacity in the Mediterranean region.

"Our company already has good access to this specific market segment, which is now excellently complemented by Absara. We are convinced that this strategic expansion will further strengthen our position as one of the leading international suppliers of shower drainage systems," says Peter Fehlings, Partner and Managing Director of TECE GmbH.

The integration of Absara Industrial into TECE will be carried out gradually, ensuring operational continuity and maintaining the quality standards that characterize both companies. “For Absara Industrial, this step represents support for the international distribution of its products. We are convinced that, with the integration into the TECE group, we will be able to increase our innovation capabilities in the sector, providing greater value to customers. Sharing a common industrial vision that guarantees the quality of the final products has been fundamental in this process,” says Fernando Valero, CEO of Absara Industrial SL.

With this integration, TECE advances its technological and product expansion, reaffirming its commitment to innovation, quality, and growth in strategic markets. At the ISH trade fair in March 2025, TECE presented a selection of Hidrobox products at its stand, highlighting its commitment to cutting-edge solutions tailored to the needs of the industry.
