Patricia Urquiola was born in the Spanish city of Oviedo in 1961. At present, she lives and Works in Milan and has been selected for the Forbes Magazine as one of 100 most creative minds in the world. She studied architecture at the Madrid Polytechnic and Milan Polytechnic where she graduated in 1989 with Achille Castiglioni. Assistant lecturer to Achille Castiglioni and Eugenio Bettinelli in Milan and Paris, she became the Responsible of the office for new product development of DePadova, where she worked with Vico Magistretti, as head of Lissoni Associati´s design group. In 2001 Patricia opened her own studio and since then she has designed products and interior spaces that have revolutionised contemporary design.
Karim Rashid is one of the most prolific designers of his generation, figures show, as Mister Rashid has over 3,000 designs in production, covering a large variety of fields: furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, lighting, public and private interior design projects... Moreover, a number exceeding more than 300 designer awards attest Karim´s legend of design. In fact, in its list of awards, we can find some of the most prestigious product design and interior design awards, such as the Build Architecture Awards, the Good Design Award, the iF Product Design Award, the Red Dot Award or the Chicago Athenaeum Good Design Award.
Jaime Hayón is one of the most recognized and important contemporary designers, not only in his home country, but also in the rest of the world. His distinguishing works are immediately recognizable by their typical characteristics of humour, creativity, colours and forms.
